3 times I have had pickpockets attempt to steal my wallet on the Metro in Paris.
So far they have not gotten it.
 But from now on I am going to stay off the Metro and stick to the above ground excellent bus system.
I think if you look English or American or simply like a tourist you are a target for scams and pick pockets in Paris.
No more Paris Metro for me.
