Wimpy's Was The Name Of The Campus Coffee Shop At Mississippi Southern College Back in 1958 Through 1963

When I was a student at Mississippi Southern College in Hattiesburg, Mississippi the college coffee shop was called Wimpy's after the character Wimpy in the Popeye comic strip.

I have a good friend named Jerry who weighs over 400 pounds. He can eat(and does eat)more hamburgers than Wimpy. He reminds me very much of Wimpy. Always laughing and always smiling and always eating one hamburger after another at McDonald's. He had two of the new Daily Doubles yesterday at McDonalds.
