It was located in the old French Market area of The French Quarter for 100 years before it moved in 1974 out to the suburbs of Metarie. But they took the past with them. Still looks great inside and serves even better coffee and beignets than Cafe Du Monde. Less tourists also. This is the real New Orleans.
