Stan Musial 1954 Red Heart Dog Food Baseball Card

When we lived in Kirbyville, Texas in 1954 I was seriously collecting baseball cards. I was 14 years old at the time. That year there was no Topps Stan Musial baseball card. In order to get a Stan Musial baseball card that year you had to get it from Red Heart Dog Food. I remember getting the cans of Red Heart Dog Food. I think you had to send in so many Red Heart Dog Food Wrappers to get their cards. In any event I got the Stan Musial Red Heart Dog Food Card like the one shown in the picture above. He must have signed an exclusive contract that year with Red Heart Dog Food.
